About Eyecatcher Arts

Our Story

Eyecatcher arts was started by artist and visual designer, Karen Stone, to provide a nurturing and inspiring art space to teach art and encourage arts practice to students of all ages.

At Eyecatcher Arts, classes are specifically run in small groups, in order to allow for individual attention, as well as creating team spirit within the small group.

At Eyecatcher Arts we focus on the individual student and foster their own style and talent, without over structured art projects that limit creativity. We provide guidance and encouragement to develop ideas and students can explore new mediums and techniques while not feeling pressured to achieve a final finished product.

We also offer portfolio preparation for school interviews. Contact us to book in a time and day that suits.

The Mission of Eyecatcher Arts

Creative thinking follows through in all facets of life and is therefore beneficial regardless of the career you follow. The therapeutic benefits of practicing art can also nurture a healthy happy mind.

I value craftsmanship, and like to pass on my knowledge and teach my students to respect the talents of others – whether they be an artist, a plumber or a scientist. Having dreams are special and with effort and a positive attitude we can achieve all kinds of goals in life.

It all starts with an interest and the passion to seek more understanding of that subject, in order to improve our skills
